I Dr.ShivaBharani, Professor & Head of the Department Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, welcome you all to the department in College of Dental Sciences. Our department of OMFS, CODS, imparts high standard of education for undergraduate, postgraduate training and high quality patient care. The department is active in promoting high quality clinic oriented research and improving clinical treatment outcome. The clinical activities taught to students are Dentoalveolar surgery, facial trauma, TMJ diseases, Orthognathic surgery, reconstructive and implant surgery, benign and malignant pathology and management of space infection of head and neck.It is our dedicated service towards excellence in health care that we are getting referrals from nearby states. We have a continuous input of cancer/ trauma / Orthognathic/ space infection patients. We give round the clock assistance to trauma unit in adjacent govt. hospital and our medical hospital regarding MLC cases and cases of academic interest are treated free. Cases referred through community camps are treated free.
